Eyefinity / Surround Gaming POLL

Pretty simple, if you have the Monitors + GPUs to do surround, do you often? 

 

 

I found that a couple of my friends and I who all have eyefinity-capable setups, stopped using it after a few months after finding its really not all that great and we don't like it much.

I would for racing/flying games but other than that i don't see the point and even then with oculus right around the corner i see that as a much better option.

I only use it for racing sim.

When I get a couple more monitors I'd do it for a couple of games, but it's definitely not something I'd use daily.

 

Would love to have three monitors for gaming in the center, teamspeak/temp tools on the left and YouTube/video on the right.

Tried to eyefinity with a 32" 1080p TV and a 1366x768p monitor placed far apart from each other... never again...

 

and no, I'm not a fan of surround gaming outside of simulators...

After putting my monitors in portrait, surround gaming is just irresistible. I didn't much care for landscape surround, but portrait surround is beautiful

I actually jump in my seat in L4D2 because the zombies are almost life size, lol

Not a fan of it. Maybe when there are completely borderless monitors. It has to be seamless for me in order to actually work.

Would use it more if more games actually natively supported it. Such a hassle to get third party software to configure it. Considering it is possible in the first place.

90+% of games don't even support it so it makes me sad that I can't use it more than I'd like to.
