Well, they'd need to replace the physical box...

 

Seeing as they're AT&T, they'll probably do it when the infrastructure gets updated, or when that gateway fails.

Tell them you're having issues and it's extremely slow and you're not getting speeds you pay for, and get a tech out. When the tech is out you can probably get him to give you an upgraded router.
