Minecraft is really slow!

Hey guys,

 

So I was trying to play on a Minecraft server with some online friends, but when Minecraft opened up, and I opened a world. It took like 5 minutes to open in the first place, and When it opened, I got like 1FPS, and the whole world had no blocks.

 

How do I fix this? I tried installing Optifine but it didn't work.

No one likes I suggest you try reinstalling MC

Try a reinstall and reboot.

Just because your rig is good doesnt mean the internet. It can only process as fast as the files come in. So if the server goes through a potato router we might have problems.

have you rebooted, install drivers, game settings? we need more info man

Show the f3 screen man, and if you feel really techy, show the super special SHIFT+F3 screen
