GTX 960 or save $41 more and buy a GTX 970?

285 ro 280x and a cooler?

The 280x is better than the 285. I'd put off getting a cooler and put the money towards getting a ssd first.

I just built a new PC but waited for the 960 to be released.

 

I ordered it today and then my uncle came over asking if he could have my old computer for a NAS, he gave me $50 for it. (NO HDD or RAM FM2 CPU it was bad)

 

Then i relized that i am almost there to a 970. if i canncle my order (amazon still hasnt prosessed it) i can save more and get it! Do i canncel it and save more money? Or use the money to buy a CPU cooler or put to towards an SSD or ram (i have 4.5 GB)? I dont have a job so il have to work hard to get that money, what do i do?

I think you should buy the gtx970; maybe an r9 290

 

then save up again for:

1. more ram (16gb total)

2. an ssd (128gb for windows)

3. a cpu cooler (4690k at stock clock is not going to bottle neck you and does not need overclocking)

well im going to get the MSI 960 Oc becasue its white and my mombo is white:P

It's such a waste though, you can get a white or black 290 or 290x I'm sure of it.
