Only 60mm driver?

My headphone got 85mm drivers. The one on the right. The plastic membrane is torn though....

*just kidding, size of drivers doesn't say anything about audio quality...:)

The size of the planar driver actually does help with bass extension and quality as it can move the volume of air needed at low frequencies.

Yeah, all the FR of planars I know of extend all the way down to 10Hz. That's one undisputed advantage of planars over dynamics. Well, unless they make 85mm dynamic driver perhaps...

I currently own a pair of Razer Kraken 7.1

[Good]

1. It's really comfortable. I play counter strike multiple hours during the weekend (like 5 hours straight) and it doesn't give me any headache.

2. Easy to use : you can mute your microphone with one touch / control your base with Razer software

3. shiny : yeah, it has LED on it. I know a lot of people care about colors

[bad]

1. not durable : It breaks often. I had to buy 2 pairs of Razer Kraken cause one of it broke after I dropped it from my desk (I have carpet floor)

2. Sound quality is bad : For the money, sound quality is pretty bad.

3. Head gets warm : After 3 hours of gameplay, you'll start feeling that your head is getting warmer. Not extremely hot but during the summer, it's extremely annoying and hot without AC blowing you.

4. Poor microphone : microphone have poor sound quality. Also, it glitch out often (static noise and etc)

[Conclusion]

It is a good headphone if you don't really care about quality but more for "look" of it.

I rather buy Astro A40 if i were you
