Define R5 feet

Hi guys,

 

I was looking to buy a define r5 case but my desk space is limited. Can anyone tell me the exact length from the back of the case 'till the front feet? My desk has 48cm or so which I believe is almost 19 inches. Will it fit?

That I saw on fractal's website. What I was wondering is the distance between the back of the case and the front feet (to see it fits on my desk without tipping over)

I see sorry, don't know that but keep in mind you need space for cables at the back

In fact the most of the difference is in height (which I got no problem with) in length is only about a few cm shorter.

The length of the case is about 52cm, as in from the back of the case to the front of the case. And then you have to remember, cables. There is alot of cables, and I bet at least one of them aren't 90 degrees, so add a couple of centimeters on that as well. Anything more you want to know while I have my ruler by my side?

From back of the case to front feet end, not including cables, 45ish centimeters(minus/plus 1-2cm)

Glad I could help, but if you are going to have it on your desk, it is going to be hella close, and cables are going to be there to add a few more centimeters. Basically, if you put it there, don't be clumsy

Just one more question: are the feet removable? (I mean easely removable not ripped apart )

I do not know, let me try to check it. It is on the floor, and I am about to play with a friend, so might only do tomorrow

If the feet are removable, then you can't have any fans in the bottom, and the screws from the hdd cage is going to lift the case a tiny bit.

 

Edit: Does not look like they were removable, you might be able to if you take off the rubber that is on the feet, but there is no screwholes accessable without doing something.

I like mine even though it is sitting on the floor, and to be honest if you don't have a window, you shouldn't really be bothered.
