Asus vs MSI

Hello.

I am shopping for GPU and i cant decide in ASUS and MSI version of GTX 970.

Any suggestions or personal experiences?

Thank you very much for replying.

Both are good options really. Do you have any preference?

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

I have a Strix 970, I like it. I haven't had an issue with Asus except for a mosfet exploding on a 290, but I've had issues with MSI and personally hate the look of MSIs... Just my opinion though. :)

Gigabyte G1, great overclocking potential and reliability.

 

However out of the 2 options i'd say MSI, from personal experience.

I will vouch for this, through seeing various videos and reviews + benchmarks, it's a great card.

I would get whatever is cheapest, but if you have the money, I would go for the G1 Gaming variant of the GTX 970, it supposedly has a binned core for better overclocking, also has a pretty giant cooler and a backplate.
