AVG deleted exe

ok so avg decided to say that the dying light exe was a virus so in a normal reaction i said remove. SHIT

 

so my issue now is, is their a way to just re download the exe from steam or do i have to download the whole game again and if i do this were are the saves stored so i dont lose my progress

right-click the game, properties, verify game cache or something, also, get rid of AVG. get Avast. AVG is garbage.

AVG reports so many false positives. It even detects itself as a virus and deletes itself.

My main and only PC of worth doesn't have an anti-virus because I'm too lazy to install one. #YOLO

...

Neither did my old laptop and my new laptop got forced one up the ass because of school.
