D5 VS DDC

Go to solution Solved by CoolaxGaming,

I have haed that D5 is more reliable. You should see Linus's personal rig video. He says that he only found some swiftech d5 pump to be good

The d5 is more powerful than the ddc but is louder. If your doing a small watercooling setup, just get the ddc. If you want expandability for a bigger setup, get the d5.

No, the DDC is louder. D5's are better for low restriction. There's no point going with DCC

ok.

Ill just have to spend 10$ more and order it from amazon instead of driving 5 min to frozencpu.,

Still not sure how ill mount it in my ft05, as it has to be mounted from the back.

Any ideas?

D5 > DDC

but in general both are very widely used. I myself also use a DDC and no problems occured yet. For the build after the one i'm currently putting together i will still get a D5 though for its versatility and generally better image.

I'd say if you dont have the money then dont cheap out ont he pump.

D5 is the better one.
