need help with NAT type

hi guys im wondering if someone can help me i need to get my NAT type from restricted to open but i dont know how to do it is their a program i can download that will do it for me automatically? thanks my internet is with videotron just in case you need to know thanks

This needs to be in Networking.

You need to login to your router via web browser . Haven't done it in forever or else i could point you where to go

Hi.  Im guessing this is a game telling you this.

 

Google "game name " port forward

 

Log in to your routers control panel probably: 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1  (type in address bar)  find the bit in your routers settings that says port forwading and forward the ports to the IP of your pc.  Nat restricted should then go away.

 

I know this is very brief.  If you give us the game or what ever it is thats saying the "restricted" and what router you have then i can point you in a more direct location to spercific ports and how to do it for your router.
