Hi guys, I need help with choosing a good graphics card. I have bought my other parts and its the last thing I need. It has to look really nice (Preferably a backplate and LED lights on it) and performe nicely. I know you guys will suggest some good graphics cards so let me just put this out there, Im not too concerned with bottlenecking of any kind. As long as I can run games(Crysis3 far cry 3&4, Bf4, etc) at medium to ultra settings at 1080p and maybe do some recording then thats fine for me. My card budget is $200-$300 CAD.

my list of parts that I have:

CPU: Amd athlon x4 860k (Planning to OC it, havent got around to it yet though)

CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper d92

Mobo: Asrock a88x fm2 pro3+ fm2+

Ram: Corsair vengeance 8gb 1600mhz

Case: Corsair Spec 01

PSU: EVGA 600b 600wat psu

SSD: Crucial m500 240gb ssd

HDD: Dont have one yet.

Windows 8

And yes, this is my first build, It is mostly based on looks a bit more than performance.

I don't know if that'll do, but how about this: get a 960. Since it has very low tdp, you could downgrade your PSU into the 450W range, and with that money, get a stronger CPU?

The dream? Maybe??

He doesn't need a super expensive gpu because that cpu is weak. Max should be a 270X/gtx 760

Personally op I would buy a 750 Ti

Core I7 5960X / Gigabyte X99 SOC Force / Kingston 16GB DDR4 3000 / EVGA GTX 980 Classified's In Quad SLI / EVGA 1600W G2

Core I7 6700K / Asus Z170 Maximus VIII Hero / Corsair 16GB DDR4 3000 / MSI R9 290X Lightning / EVGA 1600W T2

backplate guys. Also I think the 860k can handle more than the 750ti without bottlenecking. budget is up to $300 CAD. Dont worry about bottlenecks, truthfully Ill probably upgrade in a year or two to an i5 or something similar. I think the gtx 960 gigabyte g1 edition will be good for this. looks really nice.

I also dont need 100fps, 30min and 60-70 max is fine, my monitor is 60hz anyways. thanks for the help guys
