SSD please help!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey forum viewers I have no idea what ssd I should buy I know the Samsung 840 pro is good but it seems to be a little pricey. I stumbled upon this and am wondering if its a good buy or not. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When it comes to SSD drives one of the reason a drive might be more expensive then the other is due to brand name and performance. The Samsung 840 Pro has much better performance numbers then the G.Skill - also almost 50% more MTBF. But, in the end, do you need the extra performance? Depends what you are doing. If you want the "fastest" possible - then go with Samsung. If you want a "fast" SSD for your OS and such, compared to your mechanical drive, then the G.Skill is a great option, at that price.

For that price I would probably go for the M4 Crucial 128GB. Had an extremely good track record. I personally never used the GSkill Phoenix SSDs so I can't really tell you from personal experience. Not sure what the prices are on the M4s right now, but I think I saw one during the holiday season as low as 89.99
