Will a laser sensor bother me?

ManOfDisguise

I have used optical mice for so long and I know everything there is to know about optical vs laser.

However a lot of mice with a really good shape are using laser sensors. I play very casually now when it comes to gaming,so I think I wouldnt mind a laser sensor. I dont even play fps anymore tbh

Do you think I could get used to a laser mouse? I mean some of the, for me more comfy looking mice are laser mice

I'd say you can get used to it, especially if the laser mouse is more comfortable to use.

I would first worry about how comfortable it is to use and then worry about the internals. Afterall, if it's not comfortable to use then it doesn't matter how good the internals are.

You probably won't notice much of a difference, apart from higher DPI in some cases.

Myself, I will pretty much always stick with optical, but that's just me.

You can definitely get used to it. Admittedly going from my old MX518 that sadly broke to my current Steelseries Sensei it did feel different, but I quickly got used to it and don't notice it at all anymore. It really isn't dramatic at all.

Thanks guys for the help :) Comfort first, sensor second :)

You probably won't be able to tell the difference, especially with how good the sensors have become.

I went from an optical CMStorm Xornet to the Corsair M65 RGB and have had a really easy time transitioning, I wouldn't worry about it too much, get whatever fits best.
