I'm building a red and black pc, but the ssd i ordered (Intel 530 Series) is silver. My original plan was to take it apart and paint it but with the grooves already in it i think that'll look bad. So does anyone know if i could buy a new case to but the actual ssd in?

You could always install the SSD behind the motherboard tray if there's enough space, to keep it out of sight,

pro tip: tape it anywhere it is not visible

-problem solved-

you can, of course du a few different things:

craft a plate to cover your whole ssd/hdd bays

spray paint it

buy a samsung ssd next time you are worried about the colour sheme with a ssd in a black/(insert your favorite colour here) themed build
