LED Fans in 450D

AJR

Does anyone have a 450D with Corsair LED Fans within it? Please send me pictures, deciding whether or not I should get the clear LED fans or the fans with the cool color accent,

As a Z11 owner:

I advise you to use non-LED Fans.

The light will get annoying and the normal Corsair fans have the perfect touch of color a build would need.

Thanks for the quick reply.

LED fans don't always look the greatest as the light isn't even.

I suggest getting fans that match your build then buy a LED strip. You can always remove the strip if you get tired of LEDs.

This ^^^

Buy the best performing fans then worry about lighting because you can make much nicer lighting effects with LED strips, backlit mid plates and other snazzy stuff like that.

I am addicted to building gaming PCs but I don't have a great reason to stop...yet...

LED fans do look pretty sweet in the front.

As the others have said the LED fans can get annoying at times, like if you're watching a movie in the dark.  I'm running 4x intake and 2x exhaust, combining the stock case fans with the LED fans I purchased.  I've set up a media fan profile in AI Suite for watching movies/TV in the dark where only the bottom intake is running (led intake fans are off) and the top exhausts only start up (at very low RPMs) when necessary to exhaust hot air.
