Ok so i have a 16 bit color depth application and i want to force it to run in 16 bit color depth let's say from a batch file. Atm the system runs on 32 True color and the application doesn't launch unless i switch to 16 bit high color.How do i force it to run in 16 bit without changing any settings on my system.

have you tried running in compatibility mode?

Indeed i did , like i mentioned it only runs if i change the color depth of the display myself soo i need to figure out if there is a command that can force the application to run in 16 bit mode only.
