backplate question

I'm not sure if this is the right  place for this question but  i saw an EKback plate for  my gigabtye wf3 and  was wondering if  i could use it  stand alone with the  water block since i don't  plan to water  cool any time soon. all help is greatly appreciated and thanks for all the community help with building my first system. Also if anyone know the  warranty policy for  gigabtye please say that  as well.

Then yes you can use the backplate as long as it is separate from the waterblock which it should be.

It won't void your warranty or anything like that.

 

I'll be able to confirm the backplate is separate if you can provide me with a link.

If that is the one he is talking about then ya he can definitely use it. He mentioned water block so I didn't know if he meant one that came with a waterblock or something.

It actually looks really good IMHO. 

so you think i could use it without a waterblock ? and just the backplate ? my 970 seems to have a bend in the PCB :/
