Which input shall I use?

Hello LTT'rs, today I had enough of 20 inch screens and got myself the BenQ XL2411Z 24" as the main monitor and move my Samsung S20D300 over and use that as my secondary. My main question is, which line should I use? HDMI or DVI for the BenQ?

It doesn't really matter, they're both good at that resolution. 

But DVR is better normally if you don't need to carry sound.

DP > DVI > HDMI

DVI

Since according to its specs it says that under HDMI it'll run at max 120 Hz

So if I use DVI, it will run at 144hz?
