If you plan on overclocking, the first build is out of the question. The second one will be just about as good as the third one for gaming, but it needs a CPU cooler to be good for overclocking. To be honest, none of the builds are perfect, someone will probably comment with a better build for the money, using more reliable parts etc.

EDIT: PC 3 is pretty much perfect actually, but switch the 4790k for a 4690k to save $100. Gaming performance will almost always be unimpacted by this.

The only one that makes sense is 1 because the other 2 don't have CPU coolers but if 2 did have some type of CPU cooler thats the one I would go with.

So if i go with pc 3 switch the cpu to the i5 4690k and leave the cpu cooler? how much would i be able to oc it?
