Hey guys, I've seen that Linus (and other high profile tech youtubers) get sponsored by the likes of Intel, AMD Cooler Master ect but there is no actually guidelines (as far as I can see) on how to actually get sponsored by these! NOTE: I do realise my chances of getting sponsored are very slim so no hate please just information on how to apply if you will to get sponsored.

Notice you and you to have some form of decent record.

So even if you aren't the biggest YouTuber or huge on a forum or something, if you have a showable quality on big projects like Mods, they are more likely to cooperate.

Reviewers get it from being big enough that the coverage is worth it. Modders get it for being good enough that the mod/project they do will be payed attention to and well received.

(I'm not either of these things, this is just my outside view on it)

@ OP

Pretty much all the posts so far. You need to be able to offer them something more valuable than they are giving you in time (which costs them) and in resources (which also costs them). For LTT they offer large scale advertisement/coverage. It doesn't need to be advertisement, you could simply have a good idea, good plan of action and decent people skills and ask them to sponsor your project. Depending on the company they might do advertisement stuff themselves and if you agree to it they would sponsor you. That being said, it's not easy or everyone would do it. Even if you have talent that doesn't mean you'll get one either.
