i7 5820k Build

Just thought I'd share my personal rig to the community. I have upgraded a few times these past few years and I figured I would show you how I went from pretty high-end to somewhat of a overkill machine I am excluding all peripherals that were bought overtime.

 

I started off with these parts (Apologies, no pictues taken at the time):                       

 

- Intel Core i7 920

- GTX 680

- Asus Maximus V Gene

- CoolerMaster HAF 912

- 12GB Corsair Dominator DDR3 RAM 1600MHz (3x4GB)

- CoolerMaster Silent Pro 800W 80+ Bronze

- Stock Intel CPU Cooler

- Seagate 1TB Hard Drive

- Windows 7 Professional Edition

 

At around 2013, I upgraded to this:

 

- Intel Core i5 4670k

- 2x GTX 680 SLI

- MSI Z87-GD65 GAMING Motherboard

- Azza Genesis 9000W Full Tower Case

- 16GB Patriot Viper DDR3 RAM 1866MHz (2x8GB)

- CoolerMaster Silent Pro M2 80+ Silver

- Notcua NH-D14 CPU Cooler

- Samsung 840 Series 120GB SSD + Seagate 1TB HDD

- Windows 7 Professional Edition

 

I am currently running this:

 

- Intel Core i7 5820k

- 2x GTX 970 Strix Edition SLI

- Asus X99 Deluxe Motherboard

- Corsair 750D Full Tower Case

- 16GB GSkill Rip Jaws 4 DDR4 RAM 2400MHz (4x4GB)

- EVGA SuperNOVA 1200P2 1200W 80+ Platinum

- Corsair H60 (2013 Edition) CPU Cooler

- Intel 730 Series 240GB SSD + Seagate SSHD 2TB + Seagate Barracuda 3TB + Seagate Barracuda 1TB

- Windows 7 Professional Edition
