So now we have gtx 960 and gtx 970...and there is a huge performance gap between this two. Like we have solid mid range card that can play 1080p not maxed and then we have a damn rocket that molests 1080p and almost molests 1440p. And as always there is nothing that would be completely sweet for 1080p maxed gaming and wouldnt pretend to hit 1400p. What are your predicitions guys? Will Nvidia release something or AMD will fill this gap with 300series?

I think R9 280x fills this spot pretty well.

I'm still expecting a 960 Ti (With 3 GB VRAM maybe)

Yeah I think Nvidia will release a GTX 960Ti, but we just dont know what the performance increase will be so wel just have to wait and see :)

960ti shouldn't happen, ti cards are supposed to feature the same chip with more cores unlocked. The 960 already features a fully unlocked GM 206 if I'm not mistaken.

Anyway, that performance gap is nicely filled by AMD cards. The 960 is actually pretty bad value if you ask me.

Well, as Ive seen 600series - gtx 660 had 106 chip (if not mistaken) and 660 Ti had 104 cut down chip so there is a possibility that Nvidia will launch Ti version of 960 month after normal gtx 960 ( just as it was with gtx 660 and gtx 660Ti). However it is just a speculation based on analog... >.<

The 660ti was the same chip with more cores enabled, just like the 780ti and other ti cards. I'm not aware of an exception to this.

Edit: nvm, you're right. The 660ti was a larger chip.
