unless you really want physx for whatever reason go the route of the 7950

Why? 760 is the same price and get better performance and you get physx. That is my opinion

I would get a GTX760 if you want Physx and CUDA. If not, I would just get a 7950 like a MSI Twin Frozr 3 7950 or a HIS IceQ X2 7950 and overclock it to beat the reference 7970 card.

from the benches ive seen the 7950 is right close to the 770 within a few frames, how would the 760 outperform the 7950 then? not saying your wrong just going off the benches ive seen

Benches ive seen have shown a 10 to 15 fps gap.

well i havent had the time to really look just had quick glances as ive been pretty busy so i could be wrong in this case

I have only seen a few aswell but it is usually a 10~15 fps difference either way, i guess it depends on the card. i think they are probably equal

i think it would also depend on ambient temp where he lives, if its hot where he lives he might be better off with the amd card

I would go with the 760, the twin frozr coolers on the MSi GPU are good coolers and its a 700 card.
