I finally got parts to start my computer and it has been a pain in the ass.

First when I first turned it on, I forgot one to plug one cord in and I saw a spark from somewhere?

Second my cooler doesn't seem to be working. It stops at 95c. At least that is what the bios says. I haven't been able to confirm in corsair link. Yes thermal paste is applied and it is plugged in. The light is on.

Now for Windows problems it is probably because the drive was from my old pc. I got it to work in regular mode after a while but usb didn't work no matter besides safe mode. I was able to install some drivers and one including the usb. I installed the usb and it says now it is missing a critical file to boot. Even in last good configuration, safe mode and regular.

How exactly is usb critical to booting anyway?

"First when I first turned it on, I forgot one to plug one cord in and I saw a spark from somewhere?"

Elaborate on that please ?

You mean your fan is plugged in but not spinning at all ? It's either a motherboard issue or a fan issue . Do you have another fan to test on that fan header ?

A spark. Like if you plug in something in a outlet?

The fans work. I feel them.

Ok I thought I put to much thermal paste on so I redid it with less and still 95. It also turns itself off. I'm guessing save itself
