Recommend a good glossy monitor

Will be using it for picture and video editing. 

I been doing a lot of research on finding the best one. But I need some recommendations.

 

My budget is somewhere around 500.

Well at $500 he could go with a 1440p monitor. :)

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

I would suggest DELL U2410 is an an impressive monitor for the price at only $540,
