After only slight overclocking my 4670k, from 4.0ghz to 4.3ghz the temperature increased significantly.

My ambient temps are ~25 degrees celsius.

So is this the fault of the bad TIM Intel included with the haswell series or my AIO cooler which is a Seidon 120v.

And I have reseated my cooler several times and re-applied the TIM.

Voltage is 1.185v.

THESE ARE IDLE TEMPS.

Whats your voltage at?

You could also just have a hot chip -- silicon lottery and all.

What program are you using to apply the load?

Are you serious? DID I NOT PUT IN CAPS. AT IDLE.

SOMETHING IS WRONG! RESEAT THE AIO, MAKE SURE THE PUMP IS RUNNING AT 100%

Take the 3-pin header that is attached to the cooler, plug it directly into the PSU via molex to 3pin adapter.

Make sure the fan using is also at 50% or higher fan speed.

Its a dud then. RMA or return it.

Really dude? If it were a "dud" then the cpu would overheat all the time regardless of voltage/frequency...

I think without any water circulating and the fans spinning, he is getting temperatures you would expect from a "dud" Seidon 120V.  Clearly something is wrong with the device unless if the temperatures were a lot better at stock speed and voltage.

I don't see you recommending anything to remedy the situation.

If you didn't know or have not RESEARCHED it the Seidon 120v is a low end AIO.

If water doesnt circulate then the CPU would heat up over time, not instantly be at a high temp and then just sit there on that temp

I know exactly what the 120V is. It should be performing a lot better than what you are getting though.  Its basically the same as a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, and at idle, you shouldn't be anywhere close to 73C.  You should be in the low 30s at Idle.

Stop being an asshole to those trying to help you, your angry is misplaced, I get that, but I'm just trying to help.

DO YOU NOT HAVE ANY IDEA ON HOW BAD THE TIM INTEL PUTS ON THEIR CPU IS?

ITS NOT THAT BAD.  I have an i5-4670k too, and get no where near that bad of temps.

Here is my Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO review with statistics. I later upgraded to the Seidon 240M and got a massive improvement, but the Seidon 120V is going to perform similar to the Hyper 212 EVO.

You're worthless, good luck with your PoS attitude.

Hypocrite. You haven't either and @Archangel1994 has given me better info than you have. All you have done is say "Its the AIO problem" and you didn't even read my OP correctly.

Calls someone else worthless when he doesn't even understand how a non-circulating AIO works.

Sorry I missed one sentence in your post, I jumped the gun and saw those temperatures and assumed you were running a stress test, my bad.

At least I am offering up suggestions.
