Ok guys here's the low down. I have a $2000 budget and I want to be able to play AAA games at 4k. I don't play WoW, LOL, or anything, I usually play the newest games for like a week until I get bored, would love to start playing in 4k. I'm not purchasing until next month so I have a lot of time to adjust so PLEASE give any and all feedback, thanks!

Questions:

-Any aesthetics feedback is welcome, I'm currently juggling between all black (which is below) or a white/black with like a Krait mobo and white H440 case. Thoughts?

Notes:

-I don't need any storage, I have an 840 EVO pro and HDD

-PSU: Already have a TX850M that I'm not using

-The monitor is part of the budget, I think I'm set on the Asus though compared to the Samsung

Perfect rig. Great AIO! Good price to performance IMO. Why a Z87 board tho?

Also, I'd wait for the Asus PG27AQ 4K IPS monitor (if the price isn't too crazy).

Wait for the 300 AMD series.

Two 970's can't max out most newer AAA games and it'll just get worse in the future. Sure you'll still have a great experience at 4k, but you will likely have a much better one if you waited.

Anyways, rig looks good otherwise.

RIP in pepperonis m8s

Any idea on when the monitor will be released?

Plus, is Z97 worth the few extra bucks?
