Hello I recently built my computer, about 2 weeks ago. It worked fine and at the time I hadn't gotten my graphics card, but it ran fine. It had no issues and then I got my graphics card, it worked for a day then I woke up on morning and found that my computer would no boot. It turned on but nothing would appear on my screen. I checked my motherboard and got the q code 76. I really don't know what this means for my situation and tried taking out my motherboard and trying a minimum of components after reading several forum posts on various websites. I really need help. Here is what I see, I see that the CPU led on the motherboard is solid red, q code 76 and I already checked power starvation and the socket for bent pins. Could anyone tell me if this due to a faulty motherboard or a bad CPU.

Still nothing, honestly I feel it being an issue with the CPU as the CPU led on the motherboard is solid red

try to tear apart the system and test each part one by one till the PC shows the BIOS screen

if all the above fails that it could either be mobo or CPU problem
