Do I need more than 2 case fans for my Asus R9 290x?

Soaked
Go to solution Solved by XiaoPineApple,

Premium fan is only a small different compare to stock fan.

70c for a 290x is normal.

My 970 on fan at max load was 67c.

so is fine

u can fill all ur fan slot in ur case to help that a lil

I'm going to be playing games on ultra 1080p and it runs around 70~ degrees Celsius after an hour with only my Corsair 200R stock case fans. I already bought 2 bequiet! 140mm pure wings 2 but I kind of want to return them to save money, not sure if I need them or not plus I only have 1 available case fan connector + 1 CPU fan connector left lol
