Laptop trouble need help !

ok i do occasional computer repair work ! 

 

so last time a guy called me saying his laptop was not starting  and then i told him to remove the battery and run it ... and it worked ! after that with battery as well !

 

after few hours he called me saying display is not working so i told him ill come and check i went and checked it ram was faulty so i changed it and it  worked !

 

and after a month now he called me again saying the laptop is not working ... it only works when he removes the battery !

 

and when he does that the mouse does not work !

 

 

any ideas what could be wrong ? cause i do not have a clue ! and i need to go see it tomorrow... 

 

he bought that laptop it was pre owned ! and was not even 12 months old has windows 7 in it !

What laptop is this?

 

well it was a month ago so i do not remember the model no but what i can tell u is its from hp and has i3 and 2gb ram sorry but that's all i remember

The model number is pretty important if we're going to try to help you, apart from giving vague advice.

well the guy called me i do not have his no it was on landline >.> so i dont know how i can tell u model but i would appreciate any advice ... also ill post model no here asap i see it

The first thing that comes to mind is a faulty battery. 

yeah but that would not explain why the mouse is not working without battery
