What's UEFI Bios in Sapphire AMD video cards?

Hi.

 

I will soon be getting a brand new Sapphire R9 285 video card. On the side of the card below the SAPPHIRE logo there's a button to enable UEFI Bios. Can someone please tell me what does this do? and what is the difference between Legacy Bios and UEFI Bios?
