Hello....... so im planning to buy a custom built pc from amazon to russia, as its cheaper by A LOT!
im gonna buy the components then build it myself (http://pcpartpicker.com/p/VpYQgs)

so i was reading about the customs in russia (recently moved here) this......
1.
The goods for private use (except for ethyl spirit and the indivisible goods)
customs cost of which exceeds the sum equivalent of 1500 euros and (or) gross weight of which is over 50 kgs
at the unitary rate of 30 percent from their customs cost but not less than 4 euros for 1 kg of weight regarding excess of weight norm of 50 kgs and (or) cost norm 1500 euros in the equivalent
source: http://eng.customs.ru/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=1690&Itemid=1913

the question is...... will my order be applied to this law? or will it pass in peace? :3
thank you

You will have to pay all kinds of taxes and shipping and it will be more expensive afterwards. Russia has 25% VAT so add that, then import taxes. When you live in Russia you buy in russia, or you could maybe drive to europe and buy stuff there if that makes it slightly cheaper, but not ship it, if you ship it you have to pay import taxes again.

The exact thing goes for my country, Norway.. i could have gotten my PC for at LEAST 40-50% less in the US or even just in the EU, but the shipping, customs, import stuff and all made it pretty much even. We have the 25% VAT too, in addition to crazy import taxes and all that. So i bought in my own country. Seems like they simply dont want to order from outside the country without suffering.

i just found a more understandable source. Here is what it says:

The limit for free import is 1000 euro and/or 31 kg

if the goods exceed 1000 euro you have to pay 30% of the amount that exceeds the 1000 euro, limit.

if the goods exceed 31 kg you have to pay 4 euro per kg that exceeds the 31 kg limit.

if the goods exceed both, then you have to add up both 30% and 4kg for each

so i think its still cheaper if i add 100$ on top of that amount, rather than buying them from rus

No, it's just that US does not have VAT or import taxes.

Is this a per package type of import duty? If so, separate your order into smaller chunks so it's not all coming together. Keep each one under 1000 euros and 31 kg and you should be fine.

no, it is per calendar month, each month you can receive unlimited amount of packages but the their amount together should not exceed 1000 euro or 31 kg

Someone has to pay for the public health care and education systems, along with all the other services and infrastructure paid for by public funds.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
