If so, no. That will not contribute to the stability of the desk whatsoever.

 

 

If you mean the brace along the back that connects the two "legs" then, yes, that stops the desk from falling over to the lefts and right.

 

Any other issues, there's nothing some 2x4s and a few screws can't fix.

I think I posted in the wrong section so I'll post here:

I bought a desk to place two of my monitors on and I've built half of it... But the last bit that's left is a side panel which takes up a lot of otherwise leg space... I was thinking of leaving it off and just using the desk as a normal desk, but then I realized it might be included in the desk for additional support...

Can you guys take a look and let me know if you think it's okay to use the desk as is? Or do I need the side panel?
