Paired G3258 with MSI H81M-P33. That should give a decent overclock giving it a very good value. There's only 1 stick of RAM. Board only has two slots. So it's either 2x2 or 1x4 leaving one more slot in the future to upgrade to 8GB. Your choice. If your friend doesn't want to overclock drop the cooler and the CPU down to a Pentium G3220 for a cheaper build.
