My cousin is wanting to build his very first gaming PC. I built mine so I can help him on that part. I just don't know what parts to select. We want to keep the PC build under $750 if possible. He is only going to be gaming on it so here are my requirements.

*I don't want a dual core pentium chip like a lot of people suggests since that some games don't handle dual core cpu's very well.

*I have a windows 7 disk so we don't need that.

*Would Prefer 1TB of HDD space but could settle with 500GB

*Want it to be future proof, being able to play modern games at medium-high settings for atleast 2 more years.

*Easily upgradable

* On another note, he doesn't have a desk or a monitor but I am not going to include those in the budget since I can help him out with that out of my own pocket. But, any decent monitors at least 1080P 60Hz for cheap and a decent size but cheap and sturdy desk?

Have at it... Thanks for the help btw!

see if you can find a 970 at this price since it has better stability and maybe better optimisation for games than the 290x(maybe) since its a newer card

Any Idea on how high of a overclock you can achieve with that 6300? I've never really fooled with AMD cpu's.

Liking that build

Get that build with the NZXT Source 210. It's about $30-$45, depending on color and whether or not it has a window. I have a couple of pictures of builds that I have done in them in the gallery of my profile.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.
