Best gaming laptop?

killerdann12

I'm mostly a desktop PC gamer, but I do leave the house for extended periods of time. Been meaning to get a new laptop for gaming (old one is a potato).

my budget is probably around 1000$-1500$ preferably 15"

no brand preference

Yes but they will be soon, and I think its worth waiting a few weeks just to see how good they are.

Of some, aye. The HP Omen starts at $1509 I think. You will need to check the rest yourself.

pretty nice pricing on these laptops

Clevo laptops usually have the lowest pricing in the gaming notebook world. Anything that costs less usually is pre-built and is somehow inferior (like how the Y50's screen is 45% gamut and how it throttles the CPU without hitting thermal or power limits, and has mostly inferior cooling on the CPU) and possibly even on a sale.

Most of the laptops don't state what type of panel they are. Can I assume their tn?

The P650SE has an IPS screen option. It's right there below the default screen. The P150SM-A doesn't have that option. If you're not sure which machine is which, look at the URLs. They'll list the clevo model in there as well as the Sager rebrand name
