I don't think these are quite old enough to be collector's items yet... I'm sure if you sell it on ebay some apple diehard will buy it even for 600$. Label it as mac pro. He'll buy it and think he got a great deal.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨

Uhhhhh, no. "Assembled in the USA" just means some people (unfortunately probably under payed employees) just slapped a few parts together in the US, reboxed it, and sent it off to the retailers, there is literally nothing special, it's all a lie, basically.

Downloading programs from CNet is not a good idea, as they will commonly include unwanted, and sometimes dangerous bloatware... The more you know.

But why are all the other ones assembled in singapore?

Computers don't go up in value as they get older, their worth depreciates over time. It honestly is not worth much at all. If you're wanting to sell it and make at least come cash on it, then sell it now, depending on the condition, try putting it up on ebay for $200, if not, just sell it on a local buy and sell site, or take advertise it somewhere. It's not special. Just a gimmick, sell it while you actually will get some money out of it. In 2 years you'll probably get max $70 for it.

You dont know stuff. Collector items go up in value. This is a colectors item. Made for only 1-2 years. I litteraly just bought it on ebay for 150$, i dont want to sell it. I really doubt the value will go down.

you'd be surprised. close to where I live. I bought this apple classic 2 logic board for 5$. its worth something around 80-100 $  its a 24yrs old board. in 25-30 years. this thing will be worth quite a lot of money !

(fun fact. they don't know what most of they're pc stuff is. any mobo / gpu they have sells for 5-10$ overthere xD and apparently that radeon 9250 I got for 5 is worth 60 xD... I should visit them more often :P)

Keep 'em until 2020, then they'll be worth a ton :P

I still have the original box and accessories with mine, and a similarly-preserved original Macintosh has gone way up in value.

I have box for my keyboard, but nothing for my g4's

Yes, in box items, never used, never used, etc. They do go up in value. But if the thing has been used, then it's value won't gain too, too much.
