The Zalman Zm-Mic1 is of much better value. Not necessarily quality.

If you can stand needing to boost the volume and having it pick up background sounds then Zalman clip on. It's also harder to mount. If not, then the modmic. It's what I personally use. I used to have a Zalman one as backup but gave that to a friend that needed one.
