Decision time...

Ace Lean

I have decided that I am going to purchase a new a new rig and going to use the Define R5, I have a few questions:

1) What kind of motherboard should I get to fit it, I want a x77

2) I also would need a cheap laptop to take to classes so what suggestions would you guys have for that?

Also in the rig I want mostly new and pretty good specs so help a brotha out! Thanks!

Do you need an OS?  Monitor?  DVD(salvage your old one)?

I need both! and I have like a 500-600 dollar budget for a laptop that I mostly will be word processing on

Cause this is $2000 and completely unnecessary.  I would personally wait until Broadwell chips come out or go with a Devils Canyon if you need it NOW.  I'm personally waiting til Skylake comes out

Broadwell isn't going to make any tangible evidence over Devils Canyon.

If all your going to be doing on your laptop is word processing, maybe something like coding and general web browsing I would suggest an ultrabook, maybe something from the Yoga series, Asus do some good cheap laptops e.g x551ca or S200E and I've seen a good few cheap HP's and Toshibas at my time in uni.

anything refurbished under 350 if you want to be sure you're making a good deal just add up the price of all basic component of the laptop if that go near the price you pay (10-15$) you just got a great deal ^^
