New laptop for school

lclarke987

Here in Australia school is starting back up and I am going to be studying programming and networking as my 2 choices. I am looking for recommendations for a laptop no more than $2500 AUD and that will last for a minimum of 2 years.

Any help will be great. Thanks

I forgot this one from Dell

They are quoting 15 hours of battery life so, I would DEFINITELY wait for reviews on this beauty.

Broadwell only came out in ultra low voltage chips. Nothing you'd want for performance.

That being said, what do you want this laptop to do? Do you want thin/light/battery life? Or do you want some more bulk and some decent cooling/gaming power? $2500 AUS is a pretty decent budget. It's only worth about $1700 in what a US user might pay, but $1600-1700 is good money for a powerful laptop if you want it.

Do not buy a razer blade under any circumstances.

I have finally moved to a desktop. Also my guides are outdated as hell.
