As long as you have standard SATA connectors on the mobo, any SSD will work

If you don't, maybe you can make it work with and adapter

mobo: dp965lt intel

ram: 4gb

cpu: core 2 duo 2.4

psu: corsair cx430 builder series

Are any kind of SSD's compatible with my setup? What connectors do I usually need?

Your motherboard is compatible with all SSDs, though I pretty sure your motherboard is SATA 2 which means most SSDs won't run at their full speed.
