I use a combo of Fraps and Audacity for recording, I love the quality but the file size is quite large, but definitely worth it

The dxtory is a lossless codec so the only thing you can expect is large file sizes. You can lower the quality and enable compression to get smaller file sizes. Also, you can record at 720p (while still playing at 1080p) and that will reduce the size as well.

How do I enable compression?
