Intel 5th generation?

Hii,

I see alot Mainboards with "Supports 4th and 5th Gen Intel Core / Pentium / Celeron processors for LGA 1150 socket" even (as i know) the Broadwell Desktop prozessor isn't even out for the sockel 1150. How can I be sure to get a compatible 5th Gen prozessor?

Broadwell is 1150, skylake is 1151. So you can get a 5th gen processor when broadwell launches.

Because Intel has guaranteed H97/Z97 will support Broadwell

5th gen CPUs aren't out yet. When they are, the motherboard will support them.

Last I checked H81 wouldn't work (or at least isn't officially supported to work) with Broadwell.

So it will get indeed a 1150 was searching arround and never actually find an confirmation.

 

5th gen CPUs aren't out yet. When they are, the motherboard will support them.

 

That for sure but like I said, I saw many motherboards saying it will support them even if it's not out yet. Just wanted to be sure if that's a dream or a reality haha

It's not like it really matters anyway, the performance improvement of Broadwell over Haswell will be in efficiency and integrated graphics.

i know but it's good to know if that's just marketing or reallity. 

So I assume if the 6th generation will be out, it sould normally also work?

6th generation is Skylake and will require new socket (1151) and new chipset (Z170).

As has been said, skylake will be on its own socket and will be the bridge generation between ddr3 and ddr4. And is supposedly going to be a pretty big improvement (for a generational improvement anyway).
