Help finding an appropriate GPU for Processor

So my friend has this old PC that he got from a thrift shop, (His family is poor so don't judge please) The processor is an Athlon 64 3200+ and i'm wondering what GPU would be decent enough to give it a little bit of life back into it until i get some money to make him a new PC.

And also can you guys help me find some DRR1 Ram kits for cheap because he needs more Ram in his PC too...

Dang man. Is that processor really that bad? I could overclock the snobb out of it once we get it a better cooler.

I assume it is, as it's like 12 Years old...

Overclocking will probably get rid of the overhead a bit.

DDR1 you can get of eBay. And yes a single-core Athlon 64 is only going to keep up with low-demand games such as TF2 and the likes. Again, look around on Craigslist or eBay for some older generation GPUs and you can save yourself some bucks as opposed to buying a brand new very low-end GPU. Is the motherboard PCIe or AGP?

From what i can see it looks like it's an AGP slot. He only wants to play minecraft and skyrim, i told him that skyrim was going to be a far shot but minecraft is possible.

Vanilla Minecraft maybe, but it still does utilize CPU power.

Also AGP is quite a bit hard to find nowadays, your best bet is probably eBay. Stuff like these
