For $359, get the G1 instead. Has higher performance.

Still, I'd favor saving money. MSI runs cooler, and makes a bit less noise. Plus, I find EVGA ugly.

SSC, absolutely get the SSC.

All of the GPUs are going to overclock the same, and by this I mean it is random.  It comes down to silicon lottery.  That is why you have to compare the companies and features of each card.  EVGA is by far the best company when it comes to customer service and extra features.

The new SSD is supposed to be even better because it uses a new heatpipe design and has dual BIOS I believe.

The new design of the SSC looks really nice, plus EVGA is the best company for support.

They'll also be releasing a new iteration of the FTW, branded as the FTW+ which now includes a backplate, and improved cooling-design.

I'd go with the SSC. It looks cleaner and EVGA makes better cards.

Why does anyone care what a video card looks like? The thing is face down towards your power supply, so the only time you see it is the 2 minutes in between unboxing and plugging it into your PCIE slot. I can't believe people say don't get the EVGA because it has two tiny blue stickers on it that you'll never see anyways.

Is that going into your PC?

Cant wait till its available here

The new Zotac does look really nice.

I love EVGA but I'd say that the MSI is your best bet. I generally see them clocked a bit higher and I like the color scheme better. Won't really make a difference though

Should I wait for the FTW+, buy the SSC, or buy the Zotac? The Zotac has a backplate but so does the FTW+ edition

My Build: 4690k @ 4.7 GHz, ASUS Strix 970 @ 1316 MHz, H105, Corsair Vengeance Pro @ 1600 MHz, H440, RM750

I bought the EVGA SC because it has a high factory overclock, it is from my favorite AIB since they have such a great reputation with their tech support and RMA, and since it was on sale for a great price. I can hit 1500MHz on my core clock with it and have never heard coil whine. I got mine before the SSC was introduced though, and I would have probably bought the SSC had it been out. A nice thing about EVGA is you can trade up any time for the first 90 days after you buy your card, only paying the difference between the new card you want to trade up to and the old card you bought (well, shipping too). I thought about trading up to the SSC, but my SC performs pretty damn well and is really quiet, so I see no need to tempt the silicon lottery again when I'm doing pretty well on it with my current card.

The new SSC has a much better design.
