So i just bought used SAPPHIRE VAPOR-X R9 280X GPU and used RASURBO PSU ECOn Power EAP 650 an 650 watts PSU (http://www.rasurbo.com/RASURBO%202011%20eng/EAP650.html) and I have a problem.

When playing Far Cry 4 on ultra my computer automatically reboots. I am suspecting it is PSU's fault.

And my CPU is AMD Phenom II X6 1055T (125w) overclocked to 3.5 GHz

What do you guys think?

PSU delivers 30 amps on the 12 volt rail and R9 280X cards need a minimum of 30 amps.  I am guessing your problem likely is with the psu.

Still have you tried dialing things back on the cpu not overclocking it or any other components just to see how it all works under those conditions?  If not do it just for information sake.

In regards to psus go with Antec if you want an affordable but solid psu.  They are the cheapest most often out of what I'd recommend.  The other choices are SeaSonic, Corsair and some XFX psus.

As for the psu you told us to look at in regards to getting another it is not reviewed anywhere seriously and is yet another German made psu.  Please look at something rated and reviewed.

Too many ****ing games!  Back log 4 life! :S

Thank you for your answer. Yes I am running CPU on stock clock speed 2.8 GHz and it still reboots. But I mesured how much power is drown from the wall and computer restarts at around just under 400W as it seems. And thank you for your suggestions on PSU.

So after some looking around I found Antec VP600P (http://www.antec.com/pdf/flyers/VP600P_Flyer_EN_20140320.pdf) 600W power supply so is this one any better compared to LC Power one?

Yep, if it's the same as the 450W version, then the OEM is FSP, who make very high quality stuff, but there's no reviews for it from JohnnyGuru or Hardware Secrets, so I'd be a bit wary of it, as it might not be FSP at all.

But just about anything would be better than your current one or the LC Power one, heck, even wiring the PCIe cables to a heating element of a toaster would be better than the LC Power PSU.

But if possible try and find one with a single +12V rail and with at least 80+ bronze efficiency rating. For example the Corsair CX600M would be better, and would even save you a bit of money in the long term as it has higher efficiency compared to the Antec PSU, but if you can stretch to a Seasonic unit with gold efficiency then that would be ideal.

Thank you for your reply, I was actually talking with someone who is selling Corsair CS650M with 3 years of warranty for 70€, do you think that would be much better option?
