Which mechanical keyboards?

hi,

I am newbie to this forum. 

 

Well, I am currently looking for a new mechanical keyboard (first mechanical keyboard ) and I am left with this 2 choices, corsair vengeance k70 (brown switches) and Razer Blackwidow 2014 (green keys) but there seems to be some issue from these 2 keyboards.

 

Corsair

LED issue (start to become dead after few months usage)

 

Razer

Key switches not that good quality compared to cherry mx due to the outsource and there are cases where the switch dont work as they are designed to.

 

 

So, any current user for either of this keyboard... :lol: please leave ur feedback, on the experience u had with these keyboards. I read alot of reviews on these keyboards and i worry some of them are bias  :huh:

Definitely go for Corsair, when I had a K90 for about 1-2 years the LEDs never died, I imagine if they did Corsair would easily replace it. (Corsair has to have one of the best customer services available. )

I don't like Razer peripherals, they are cheaply built and their customer service isn't as good. (Everything I owned that was Razer died. )

 

I'm aiming to purchase a K70/75 RGB in the future.

ya.... but i am from malaysia... so RMA might take quite some time, its best to have a product with the least problem lol

You can ask for Corsair to send you a keyboard first.

In the meantime use the same keyboard.

I guarantee that the Razer keyboard will have more problems than the Corsair Keyboard.

I'd go Corsair. Razer isn't exactly a company I think of when it comes to high quality products.

Cooler Master, Ducky, CODE, WASD, all are safe bets. Corsair's keyboards are great but yes, a handful of them have issues.

CM makes some nice boards. 

 

Other suggestions mentioned above are also good...
