Hi boys and girls,

Im planning to buy a new monitor. Im coming from two 24" monitors, and want to downsize to one 27".

Im a mild gamer. My graphics card is a gtx970.

Preferences:

TN panel

Low ms

no need for higher res than 1080p

27"

no need for 144hz so 60hz i think is preferable.

(dont think g-sync is an option here but it would be nice?)

I did some research myself but i like some second opinions.

Budget remains open depens or what the advice is going to be.

Thanks!

I used Acer a lot in the last couple of years and I never had any problems with them.

So I would recommend the Acer G6 G276H http://geizhals.de/acer-g6-g276hlabid-um-hg6ee-a01-a768753.html
Sorry, for the german link, was too lazy to find a english one.

  • Full HD 1920x1080
  • 27 inch
  • 2ms response time
  • TN panel
  • HDMI, VGA, DVI
  • Vesa mount compatible

Btw.: I changed the link. The other one was rong.

A VESA mount is a simple standard to fit VESA compatible stands or wall mounts.

VESA usually means that there are 4 holes drilled in the back of your monitor, each one at a distance of either 100 or 200mm from each other.

Looks like this:

There are a lot of monitors out there. I took this one because it's pretty cheap. It does the things you need and why would you want to pay more than that. But here is a list of all monitors that have the things you need. 27 inch, 2ms response time, full HD.

In general I recommend Acer, Asus, Samsung and BenQ
