Monitor conected to the card in slot 1

For starters Download this: http://www.geforce.com/geforce-experience . Once finished installing, do a scan for drivers (should be a big drivers tab at the top of the window) in geforce experience.

 

EDIT: Once you have done that let me know. I will then explain to you how to enable SLI, in Nvidia control panel.
