Slowing down/Freezing - Possible CPU overheating

Hello forums,

A friend of mine is running into an issue where his PC randomly slows down then freezes.

I have asked him what his CPU temps are and he says 54C Max with 15-20% load, which I think is the culprit, I think it's too high for that kind of load.

Do you guys think his CPU temps are too high/ could be causing this issue.

CPU: I5 3330.

Ambient temperature 20-25C.
